Privacy is so important to me, and I take my client’s preferences very seriously. Boudoir photography is very private, and a few of my clients are so excited to allow me to share their images because of how it made them feel. I never pressure clients to share images, and I do not offer “bravery” discounts. If they say yes, it’s 100% their decision, and I support whatever decision each client makes. However, when I get an email that says “I’ve changed my mind, you can share my images”, I really jump for joy! That was the case with Mrs. N and her boudoir images. She is a mom, and self-described as a non-make-up wearer and pony-tail hair style. Since so many people think “I do not look like the ladies on your website”, Mrs N and I both agreed that sharing an “everyday” or “before” picture of her would be fun to show the boudoir transformation. For a little anniversary fun, she brought her veil from her wedding, and also accessorized with her husband’s hard-hat from the oil field. She truly embraced her boudoir photography session! Email below from my sweet client about her boudoir session and ultimate anniversary gift:
“I just wanted to let you know that my husband LOVED his pictures! He said to tell you Thank you and that you did an awesome job. Also, he said you have full permission to use my pictures on your website. ( I marked “no” on the paper because I wasn’t sure how he would feel about it.) He said you did such a good job, you fully deserve to share them. Thank you again for helping to make our anniversary so special!”
