All About Marie
Hello! Thank you for visiting Pink Door Boudoir Studio in McKinney! I’m Marie, owner, photographer and artist behind Pink Door. I have a passion and dedication for boudoir photography, making lasting memories, and helping women feel amazing and sexy!
I love (in no particular order) lattes, flip-flops, my iPhone, running, brownies, my MacBook Pro, schedules, white wine, iTunes, netflix/hulu, reality TV, outdoors, Disney, cooking, photography, travel, cruising, all my dogs, my family, my children, my husband, and GOD! My day starts with a strong cup of coffee, and usually ends with a glass of wine (with a bunch of craziness in between!). I love photography, being a boudoir photographer, making new friends and my fabulous clients!
My first boudoir session was for my aunt’s “Wedding Lingerie” photo session, and I was only 5 years old. . . although I don’t remember much about it, I’m told that I assisted with all the posing (LOL!). If you ask me about it, I can show you the photo (it’s from the 1980’s, so it’s classically amazing!). I love to know that my journey to become a photographer started when I was so little! My goal is to make you as comfortable as possible! I enjoy being behind the camera and taking amazing shots that you will love. I’m passionate about the entire experience, from our first conversation, to the shoot, to the last edited photo. Boudoir is about capturing your beauty, making a memory, and having fun! Every women has a beautiful and sensual side. . . empower yourself.

“I was born in the Emerald city known as Seattle, WA. As a child, I always loved doing hair and loved the art of different hair styles. As I got older, I was the go-to hairstylist for all my friends. At the age of 16 my family moved to Texas where I landed my first job at MAC Cosmetics and perfected my craft in make-up. Later, I was noticed by modeling agencies and began a modeling career in Texas, New York, and overseas in Barcelona Spain. After many years of modeling, I learned so much about the fashion industry that I decided to put all my talents together and start a hair and make-up company. Today, I own SASA Hair and Makeup. I am excited about the work that I do. I work in the spirit of excellence. I am grateful and love to inspire and encourage people to understand that beauty begins from within.”
